Alessio Roccon is Assistant Professor at the University of Udine (IT). Previously, he was postdoc at the Multiphase Flow laboratory - University of Udine (2020-2023) and at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer - TU Wien (2017-2019). He received his PhD in Environmental and Engineering Science from the University of Udine. His research focuses on a variety of fundamental fluid mechanic problems where interactions between turbulent flows and deformable interfaces occur. AR has wide research experience in phase-field modeling and high-performance and GPU-computing of turbulent flows with interfaces.
